TheWallBanger™ (Basic Unit)
TheWallBanger accepts the Defense Technology 7000 Multi-Port Body and one 7001CI “Command Initiated” Distraction Device Fuse. This allows the operator to remotely and instantly initiate one distraction device. The operator can pre-determine the porting direction of the distraction device by positioning the breaching head in a particular direction. It is recommended that the ports be pointed up to reduce the possibility of someone being hurt by the porting blast pressure.
The breaching head has hardened steel breaching cleats that are positioned on the head in a manner to enhance the ability to defeat window pane glass and some hardened glass such as commercial glass.

It is equipped with a dual, shock-tube initiator holder, an extension pole to reach most 2nd story windows, an adjustable elbow (to ensure a vertical dispersion of the blast) and a detachable head with tungsten steel-tipped teeth that will hold a Def-Tec 25 command initiated Multi-Port distraction device.

The Double WallBanger™, this attaches to The WallBanger pole and can accept one or two Defense Technology 7001CI “Command Initiated” Distraction Device reloads in separate blast chambers. This allows the operator to remotely initiate two distraction devices in the same location or distraction devices in separate locations. The operator can pre-determine the porting direction of the distraction device by positioning the breaching head in a particular direction. It is recommended that the ports be pointed up so as to reduce the possibility of someone being hurt by the porting blast pressure. (Two (2) pin guns are required.)

TheWallBanger™ Door Key™, when attached to “TheWallBanger” unit, can be angled to assist the operator’s ability to remotely place the breaching chamber onto a door’s surface in an attempt to defeat the locking mechanism of the door. The “Door Key” can accept one or two Defense Technology 7001CI “Command Initiated” Distraction Device reloads in its blast chamber and allow the operator to remotely initiate it through the use of shock tube and a shock tube initiator or pin gun. The operator must pre-determine how much energy is needed to defeat the locking mechanism of the door.

The O.C. Blaster™, allows you to attach a Defense Technology MK IX 12 oz. OC canister to the spear type point of our attachment which mounts onto the end of TheWallBanger, and that can allow the operator to penetrate a window, automobile windshield glass or commercial bus glass to insert OC gas while allowing a safe distance yet effective application from the location of the operator. It also allows insertion of OC into a 2nd story window from ground level. It uses the basic WallBanger pole with a tungsten tipped, window breaking attachment and tough tubing that connects the head of the window spear to the O.C. canister that is mounted on TheWallBanger pole for immediate and thorough dispersion of OC gas throughout the objective after insertion of the device into the objective and activation at the command of the operator.

RE: New Policy - 2008 Distraction Device Purchase Requirement
Beginning in 2008 your purchase orders will require additional documentation from agencies buying Distraction Devices and Stinger Grenades.
The new policy will be effective January 1, 2008 requiring all purchases of Distraction Devices and Stinger Grenades to be accompanied by a valid certificate of training. The certificate of training must be held by a sworn officer of the purchasing agency and must be instructor level training. To be recognized as valid, meaning:
(1) The training certificate must be current (within the past two years);
(2) Issued by Defense Technology or the National Tactical Officers Association; or,
(3) From a state accredited training agency (and it must be stated on the certificate).
